I wrote this shortly after moving to Vancouver, hence the opening line.

To be vague, let's just say the song is kind-of about those "big" things that happen to us in life. Those things that we typically like to plan for, or talk to death, when what we should be doing is enjoying them in the moment; if we can't enjoy them, the least we can do is to learn from them.

For me, it was at least in part about the move itself.

I recorded this demo at home on my laptop. All the lyrics/arrangements/melodies/harmonies you hear are me, the instrument, a microphone, and Cubase LE.
